ABOUT THE CABIN: The Embraer ERJ-175 Economy cabin is configured with 44 seats in a 2-2 arrangement. Overhead bin space is smaller than Delta mainline aircraft and fills up quickly. Small rollerboard suitcases fit in the overhead bins sideways, but most have to be gate-checked as you board. Gate-checked bags are picked up on the jetway upon arrival and are not checked through to your final destination.
SEAT WIDTH: 18.3 inches SEAT PITCH: 31 inches
SOFT PRODUCT: Complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic drinks and coffee are available on flights over 250 miles. Alcoholic beverages and food is available for purchase on most flights.
QUICK OVERVIEW: Row 10 and Row 11 are Preferred Seats - available for free to Delta Medallion Elite frequent flyers or for purchase (price varies by segment length).
SEAT SUGGESTION: There is no exit row on the ERJ-175, so all seats in Economy have identical seat pitch. There aren’t any seats that are better than others. The Preferred Seats are no different than the standard economy seats, so I wouldn’t waste your money to sit in these. The only benefit is that they are closer to the front of the cabin.
